Institute of Ayurveda and Integrative MedicineSupplements (I-AIM) is the research and education focused Hospital affiliated with the Transdisciplinary University. Initiated in 2004 as a 20 bed facility and expanded in 2010 to a 100-bed Multi-specialty Ayurveda and Integrative Healthcare Facility with the support of TATA Trust, I-AIM has 12 Consulting Departments, 10 Full-time senior Physicians, 4 Specialist Consultants and 15 Junior Doctors.
The Transdisciplinary University (TDU) is built upon 22 years of pioneering work done by Foundation for Revitalization and Local Health Traditions (FRLHT), Bangalore, founded by Padma Bhushan Sam Pitroda & PadmaShri Darshan Shankar in 1993. The core team strength is around 300 experienced and dedicated staff. The University inherits the 17 acre FRLHT campus in North Bangalore which has built-up structures of around 1,80,000 square feet and is beautifully landscaped with 1500 species of native medicinal plants.
